is known locally) has been family run and owned for 42 years and here you will
find old-fashioned traditional family hospitality, in an unrivalled location

<p align="center"><font color="#000000">Why not join us on a sunny evening or
Sunday afternoon, where you can sit in our spacious beer garden adjacent to
the River, and enjoy unobstructed views over the River Trent and the Trent Valley.
On Sundays, throughout the Summer, children can play on the bouncy castle or
in the safe playground whilst adults enjoy the outdoor entertainment provided
by one of the excellent musical artists who regularly visit us. </font></p>
<p align="center"><font color="#000000">You can bring your own picnic or join
us for one of the outdoor BBQ's which are held regularly throughout the summer.</font></p>
<p align="center"><font color="#000000">There are many beautiful walks right on
our doorstep as well as facilities to fish nearby in an area of outstanding
natural beauty. Local tourist attractions include <a href="http://www.btwebworld.com/northlincs/museums/normanby.htm">Normanby
Hall</a> with its superb Victorian Kitchen Gardens and The Maze at Alkborough.</font></p>
<p align="center"><font color="#000000">During the winter months, guests are welcomed
at The Ferry House's annual events, which include Bonfire Night and Christmas
carol services and celebrations.</font></p>

<p align="center"><font color="#000000">Indoors, you can enjoy a smoke free environment
due to our smoke filters, which ban the smoke, not the smoker. We are recommended
by the Good Beer Guide for our excellent variety of house and guest ales, bitters
and lagers.</font> </p>
<p align="center"><font color="#000000">Every other week, The Ferry House holds
its extremely popular 'Muso's Night' or 'Thursday Fortnightly' as it is known
locally, where budding musicians and vocalists are invited to entertain regulars

venue in which to celebrate a marriage, christening, charity event, or special

indoors in our spacious lounge area or alternatively outdoors in our large gazebo.
If you would like to use an outside caterer, they are more than welcome to make
use of our facilities.</font></p>
