While many barn wedding venues have limited accommodation (it’s normally a luxury reserved for stately or chain hotels), The Ferry House is unique in offering ample space for your guests to stay together in comfort.

With boutique guest rooms and self-catering cottages sleeping up to 75 guests, we provide a rare blend of rustic charm and convenience.

Our Wedding Accommodation Options

We offer two types of wedding accommodation at The Ferry House: our luxurious guest rooms and our charming self-catering cottages.

Luxe Guest Rooms

Located just steps from the wedding barn, our 11 boutique rooms provide an luxurious retreat for your guests. These individually-styled rooms feature beautiful décor and thoughtful touches, including handmade beds, Nespresso coffee machines and luxury British toiletries. Your guests can enjoy a restful night’s sleep, waking up to a delicious award-winning breakfast and the opportunity to reminisce and continue the celebrations!

Some rooms can accommodate additional children with cots or camp bed options, making them ideal for families. We also offer a mobility-friendly room with step-free access and an adapted ensuite wet room.

Among these rooms, the Honeymoon Suite is a particular highlight and is included in most of our wedding packages. A spacious and romantic sanctuary, it includes a super-king bed, a separate lounge, an ensuite spa bath large enough for two and stunning waterside views – perfect for unwinding after your big day.

Mocketts Farm Cottages – Perfect for Groups & Two-Day Weddings

For guests who prefer more space and flexibility, our five self-catering cottages at Mocketts Farm are just a short stroll from The Ferry House. Sleeping up to 53 people, these beautifully converted farm buildings offer a tranquil escape surrounded by stunning countryside.

Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, cosy living spaces and private outdoor areas with loungers and fire pits—ideal for relaxing in the fresh air. The cottages are perfect for large families or groups of friends who want to stay together, creating a home-away-from-home experience during your wedding. They also feature:

• A shared games room with table tennis, pool and table football
• Accessible bedrooms with wet rooms in select cottages
• Dog-friendly options, plus a two-acre exercise paddock
• Beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and Mocketts Farm duck pond
• Cots, kids’ camp beds and sofa beds can increase accommodation capacities

Reserving Accommodation for Your Wedding

Our rooms are held exclusively for your guests until three months before your wedding date. You as a couple decide which of your guests are able to book rooms via a secret code. If you want to secure Mocketts Farm Cottages for your wedding accommodation, we recommend early booking, as these are not held, are popular and can be reserved over a year in advance.

We’re happy to offer packages that include some or all of our wedding accommodation. A special rate is also available for couples who want to book all five Mocketts Farm Cottages. This is a fantastic option if you’re planning a two-day wedding, a mini moon or simply want to keep your loved ones close by throughout your celebrations.

Dog-Friendly Wedding Accommodation

We know that for many couples, their dogs are part of the family. That’s why we’re delighted to offer dog-friendly accommodation options at the Mocketts Farm Cottages and select guest rooms, allowing your pet to be part of your big day.

While our couples’ dogs can be present for your wedding, guest’s dogs unfortunately cannot attend. While they can’t be left unattended in any of our accommodation, we can happily recommend a local pet sitting service to book.
