“The winner is Kent to its core, local everything from cider to the cows grazing in the surrounding land, served with top end personal service by staff whose knowledge of the local area was as if they were born and raised there. “Quite simply the best all round experience shouting Kent”

Great Sunday Roast

We ate Sunday Lunch at The Ferry House. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Sunday roast was like a home cooked. Delicious. We were a party of 4 . We all enjoyed the food

A truly sublime wedding venue

Our son and his new wife got married in this beautiful venue last Saturday.
Amazing. A truly wonderful experience that we will never forget. The venue is stunning, the food is incredible, the service and staff are outstanding and the organisation of the day was seamless. We stayed overnight, with an equally delicious breakfast the next morning. The majority of the food is home made and home grown, using home bred cattle for meat, and locally sourced ingredients. Worthy of Michelin stars. The rooms were stunning - so big and tastefully decorated. We had an accessible room and it was perfect for my wheelchair and needs.
My small quibble was that the mattress was so hard, I was in pain most of the night. I know some people like a hard mattress, but this one would test the best of bodies!
Apart from that, I could not fault any moment or part of our son and daughter in law's wedding day. This place is special. Very special in deed.
