A Beautiful Oasis

The Ferry House is a beautiful & welcome oasis on the Isle of Sheppey with its stunning location. We've just spent a relaxing weekend at this haven of hostelry with its calm atmosphere, roaring fire and unpretentious vibe. The food was to die for, much of which is homegrown and locally sourced. All served by knowledgeable staff. Reasonably priced cocktails which have to be sampled. So, do yourself a favour, book yourself in for a few days relaxation.

Perfect Winter Break

My husband and I celebrated my birthday by staying overnight at The Ferry House. The location is wonderful and very atmospheric in the winter. The staff were all friendly and helpful. They were also rightly enthusiastic about the food they produce and serve, which as far as possible is sourced and grown locally. We ate dinner and breakfast and both were exceptional. Our room was large, luxurious and well-equipped; the bed was huge and so comfortable. The bathroom with its walk-in shower and copper bath was stunning. We will certainly return and would unhesitatingly recommend it to other potential guests.

Middle of Nowhere Bliss

I really can't recommend The Ferry House enough. Tucked away in the middle of next to nowhere it really is something special. I've stayed a couple of times for work at this point, and the combination of reasonable rooms during the week, superb food and spectacular scenery means I'll always take a look if I'm in the area.
