Our Signature Sunday Roast

They say the happiest memories are made gathered around the table – and there’s no table quite like our Sunday roast table. Come and join us for a Harty roast, showcasing the best of our homegrown, family farmed and locally sourced Kent produce, served every Sunday from 12pm-3.30pm, then 6pm-7.30pm.

FAMILY-FARMED BEEF

Our family-farmed beef is grass grazed on the nearby Elmley Nature Reserve then matured for 28 days.

FREE RANGE GAME

Look out for the free-range game birds that wander the Harty estate & grace our menus during game season.

HOMEGROWN PRODUCE

Our team of chefs & gardeners work closely to cultivate & crop fresh produce daily from our Kitchen Garden.

A LA CARTE

Our cosy Bar with its easy ambience is perfect for casual and family-friendly dining - even your dog can join you. A blazing fire is a given during the winter months.

Settle in for a lazy Sunday in our country restaurant. Relaxed & with traditional features, its pheasant-themed walls are a nod to the local wild fowl.

You’ll find The Ferry House blissfully set in a landscape of farmland, wild wetlands & estuary views unique to the Harty estate. Popular with walkers & wildlife enthusiasts, why not take to the trails before enjoying a ‘Harty’ Sunday roast, let the kids work up an appetite on the playground, or enjoy an amble around our Kitchen Garden.

Sublime

The sun was shining, the temperature was clement and we decided to treat ourselves to a Sunday lunch - and how glad we were that we made that decision. The Ferry House treated us to a wonderful game-led experience. Partridge and venison were delicious, the Sunday roast beef was sublime and the vegetable-based desserts were a revelation. Coupling this with a pleasant ambience and delightful service made for a lunch to remember. Although not cheap, the Ferry House is worth every penny.

Amazing Sunday meal.

Stayed overnight and went for a Sunday lunch. The food was amazing and came so quickly. Service was great and was a nice and peaceful vibe. A wonderful birthday treat.
