The Hop Barn • PRICES FROM £750

The Hop Barn is just the right mix of rustic and elegant for a stunning and characterful party venue. It can seat 10-70 for a sit-down meal, or up to 130 if you fancy a more informal, grazing-style feast. With its waterside terrace and landscaped gardens it’s ideal for taking in our beautiful estuary views, with plenty of space for a DJ and dancing area, or a live band.

The Restaurant

If you have a rustic, private pub-style party in mind, you'll love our 16th century barn restaurant, with characterful hops, period features and toasty fires in the winter months. Choose from a three course meal for up to 22, created by our 2AA Rosette chefs for sophisticated dinner party vibes, or go relaxed grazing dining for up to 50, with laughter around the bar, ample space for a live musician, magician or even casino tables, arranged on your behalf.

Great food makes a party! Our award-winning chefs serve up delicious dishes using our homegrown, family-farmed, and locally sourced produce.

Choose from a range of options to suit a formal touch or a social vibe, from a 2AA Rosette three-course meal to a Kentish hog roast or a generous grazing table, or perhaps one of bespoke drink stations serving up your favourite tipple.

Kentish Hog Roast

A Kentish hog, cooked to a turn with all the trimmings, including locally baked soft white rolls, hot new potatoes, stuffing, crackling, coleslaw & Harty apple sauce, plus salad bowls.

Sociable Grazing Table

Graze your way through a generous spread of cheeseboards with crackers, meat items & platters, fruit & chutneys, filled sub rolls & other salad & savoury plates.

2AA Rosette Dining

Why end the night early? With our 4* ensuite guest rooms sleeping up to 22 and self-catering cottages sleeping up to 53, you and your guests can keep the celebrations going.
