Is 2026 the year you want to say your ‘I dos’ at The Ferry House? If so, it will be a new chapter for us too, as we complete the renovation of a beautiful, new wedding barn. 

If you’ve fallen in love with The Ferry House, you’re not alone. We’ve loved the venue since it came into our ownership in 2000. Over recent years we have made numerous enhancements – the gardens, the Oak Gazebo, the Coach House and the Garden Lodge to name just a few – all to make it best place for you to have the best day of your life. 

The next, exciting chapter is to replace our current Event Suite with a stunning new Barn.

2025 Weddings

The Ferry House is open for weddings until 30th September 2025. After this our diary will be closed for weddings from 1st October 2025-12th April 2026 as we undertake renovations.

Some more details that we are able to confirm at this stage…

• The number of guests we can host will not decrease, it will marginally increase. 
• Once your reservation agreement and quote has been signed, your package price will not increase when we receive the new plans. 
• We will still be able to offer the same packages/arrangements as we do now – if anything the options available to you will increase, but certainly won’t decrease. 
• Our planning service will remain the same high-quality experience as is now 
• We will still only host one wedding a day at the Ferry House.
