The Farmhouse is a surprising find in humble Harty, with eight ensuite bedrooms and an enormous open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen making for an incredible backdrop to a large group occasion. Enjoy stunning views from all angles, most notably from the large private garden, which overlooks spectacular farmland views. It’s just the place to spend lazy afternoons and relaxed evenings – unless of course you head down the road to The Ferry House, for our 2AA Rosette dining, or a rejuvenating massage.

We stayed in The Farmhouse with extended family for a week in May. The property is very comfortable with plenty of space and is really well equipped for a large group. The children loved playing in the large garden and the grown-ups loved the views. Well located for the beaches and amusements in Leysdown and a booking at The Ferry House restaurant is a must!

Stayed here many times before, so peaceful. Wildlife everywhere, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Great for a recharge and relax, or to use as a base to explore Kent. Would recommend to everyone - but would like to keep it to myself as a beautifully quiet secret. The nearest local restaurant [The Ferry House] is 10 minutes walk away, 5 star food and all locally sourced. Me and my family will stay again.

A complete idyll less than 90mins from London. An absolute treat to wake up with incredible wildlife right outside your door. Great pub [The Ferry House] just 10mins down the road - child friendly, dog friendly, delicious food and the opportunity to sneak away for a massage!

A fantastic house if you are looking for a weekend away (or longer). The house is finished to a high standard and is situated in a pocket of stunning countryside. A perfect retreat. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

My 50th at Mocketts Farm!

We booked the whole complex for 2 nights for my 50th birthday! There were 27 adults, 2 little ones and a dog. The accommodation exceeded our expectations! Every single cottage was immaculate and very well decorated and lovely and warm. We literally had the best time ever! I cannot find one fault with the accommodation. The booking was dealt with smoothly. Lovely people to deal with, especially when it’s a big occasion and you want everything to be perfect. Everyone had the most fantastic time, especially me! We will definitely be returning in the future. Wonderful weekend, wonderful place!
